Brenda was born on 14th March 1933 in a small village called Adwick-le Street near Doncaster. One of five children to Sam (William)and Elizabeth (Tizzy) Harris, she grew up with her brothers Edward and John and sisters Emily and Florrie. Planet Road where she was born, was part of a cluster of other streets in a very close community.
